From a menu photo to your first online order.
About an hour to set up, and you do not need to be good with computers. Here is every step, how long each one really takes, and what happens the first time an order comes in.
Six steps, and two of them are optional.
These times are for a small menu and someone who has never done this before. Nothing is charged at any point, and you can stop halfway and come back later.
Create the account
Your restaurant name, your email, and a password. No card, and nothing on this page costs you anything.

Get your menu in
Three ways to do it, and you can mix them. Type your food in, upload a spreadsheet, or paste a link to a menu you already have online and check what we pulled out of it.
- Nothing is saved until you have looked at the list yourself and pressed Import
- You can change prices, sections, options and photos any time afterwards
- Start with your ten best sellers if you want to be open today, and finish later
Set your hours and pickup times
When you take orders, and how long a customer should expect to wait. Your page opens and closes on that schedule by itself, so nobody pays for food at 2am.
- Different hours for different days, and close for a holiday without deleting anything
- If you leave it blank you stay open, rather than quietly going dark by accident
Connect payments
Card payments run through your own Stripe account. The money goes to your bank the way it already does, and never passes through us.
- Never used Stripe? Signing up is part of the setup guide and takes about ten minutes
- Already on Stripe? Connect the account you have and nothing about your payouts changes
Make it look like you
Your logo, a big photo, and a colour. You can skip this. A plain page taking orders beats a beautiful one that is still unfinished on Friday.
- You see the real page change as you edit it, not a pretend version
- You can use your own web address later, and then that is all your customers see
Put the link where your customers already are
This is the step that decides whether any of the others were worth doing. Your Google listing, your Instagram bio, and a QR code on the table and the counter.

What happens when an order comes in.
Five things happen, start to finish. You only have to do two of them.
The customer orders and pays
On their phone, on your page. Their card is charged at checkout through your own Stripe account, so the money is in before your kitchen does anything.
The order lands on your screen
The order appears on your screen with the food, any options, their notes, the pickup time and the total. It can print in the kitchen if you have a printer.
You accept it and cook
Accepting confirms the pickup time. If you have run out of something you can mark it unavailable and refund just that item, leaving the rest of the order alone.
You mark it ready
Your customer gets a message and their tracking page updates. They already have the link, so they are not stood at your counter asking if it is ready.
They collect, and they are on your list
Their name and number are now on your customer list. That is the part a delivery app keeps for itself.
Yours to export any time. A delivery app never hands this over.
What to have to hand.
Four things, and you almost certainly have all four already.
Your menu
A photo of it is enough. Typing it in is quicker if it is short.
A bank account
In the restaurant's name, connected through Stripe. Same as any card machine.
Your opening hours
Just for the days you want online orders. It does not have to be every day.
About an hour, once
You can do it in bits. Nothing has to be finished in one sitting.

- Put your menu in for you if you send it over, so you do not have to type it
- Make your QR code and the link for your Google listing
- Get on a call and set up Stripe with you if you would rather not do it alone
- Delivery. This is for pickup orders. We do not send out drivers
- Replace your till. Orders show up in a browser next to whatever you already use
- Text or email your customers yet. That is the next thing being built
