Text Messaging Terms

We text and call only the number you typed into the form on this site and asked us to use. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We do not sell or share your mobile number, or the fact that you opted in, with anyone.

EZ Orders is operated by Blue Obsidian IO. These terms cover messages we send from our own number to people who opted in on this website. They do not cover anything a restaurant using our software does with its own customers.

One program, aimed at restaurant owners and managers who asked us to get in touch. The messages are conversational and promotional: we are following up on an enquiry about our ordering software.

• A reply to the question you asked in the form, from a person.
• Help getting set up - what to do next, and an offer to walk you through it.
• Occasional news about the product, pricing, and features we have added.
• A reminder if you started an account and did not finish it.

That is the whole program. We do not send messages on behalf of anyone else, we do not sell your number as a lead, and we do not text people who did not fill in the form. There is no age-gated, loan, gambling, cannabis, or high-risk content of any kind.

You agree in one place and one place only: the chat widget on this website. You enter your name and mobile number, type your question, and tick the consent box. The box is never pre-ticked, and no number is ever added by us, imported from a list, bought, or entered on your behalf.

We record the wording you agreed to, the date and time, and the page you were on, and we keep that record for as long as we hold your number. It is what we would produce if anyone ever asked us to prove you asked to hear from us.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can use the site, create an account, and pay us without agreeing to any text message, and refusing costs you nothing.

Message frequency varies. In practice it is a handful of messages while we answer your question, and rarely more than four a month after that. You receive nothing until you opt in.

Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you anything for these messages. Your mobile carrier may charge you according to your own plan.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, your plan and your handset, and we cannot guarantee any particular message arrives. Nothing you are owed by us depends on a text arriving - if you would rather be emailed, say so and we will.

Reply STOP to any message from us and the messages stop. We send one confirmation and then nothing further. STOP works at any time, from any message, and costs you nothing beyond whatever your carrier charges to send a text.

• STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT - unsubscribes you. One confirmation follows, then silence.
• HELP or INFO - replies with who we are and how to reach us.
• START or UNSTOP - resubscribes you, if you stopped and changed your mind.

You can also stop them by emailing hello@ezorders.shop and asking, and we will do it for you. Unsubscribing from texts does not close your account, cancel anything you have bought, or stop the emails you need about your account.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number, or your consent to be messaged, with any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone outside of delivering these messages, and are never passed to another company as a lead.

Your number is used to reply to you, to help you set up, and to send you the messages described above. The only third parties that see it are the providers that deliver the message and hold our contact records on our behalf. They are listed on the Subprocessors page, may use your number only to carry out that work for us, and may not use it for anything of their own.

The Privacy Policy describes everything else we hold, how long we keep it, and how to ask for a copy or to have it deleted. Ask and we delete it - unsubscribing keeps only the record that you unsubscribed, which is what stops us contacting you again by mistake.

The program is supported on the major US mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messages may not arrive if your handset is off, out of range, out of storage, or if your carrier or plan blocks them.

Questions about these messages, a request to stop them, or a request to see what we hold: hello@ezorders.shop. We answer messaging and privacy requests within thirty days and usually within one working day.

If we change what these messages contain or how often they arrive, we update this page and change the date at the top of it. A change that widens the program beyond what section 2 describes needs fresh consent from you rather than a new version of this page.
