The maths, with the numbers on the table.
Three ways of selling the same food online, and what you are left with at the end of the month. You can check every number here yourself on a calculator.
Start with one $14.31 order.
The same food, sold three ways. We use this same order everywhere on the site so the numbers never change on you.
And they keep the customer. You get one order, not a regular.
Before the $499 bill. That is about 35 orders a month just to pay for the software.
Your customer sees a $1.40 service fee on their receipt before they pay.
Example figures. The card fee is a typical rate and is paid to your own card processor. Delivery app rates vary by deal, and platform prices vary by package.
One order is small change. A year of them is not.
What a 20 percent cut costs you over a month and a year, at three order sizes. Find the row closest to your place.
| Your average order | How many | Their cut, per month | Their cut, per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| $14 order | 300 a month | $1,260 | $15,120 |
| $28 order | 300 a month | $2,520 | $30,240 |
| $45 order | 200 a month | $2,700 | $32,400 |
That is at 20 percent, which is the middle of what delivery apps charge. All of that money was in your till before somebody took a cut. None of it is charged to you here.
You keep the money, the customers, and your freedom.
You keep what you made
A cut is taken off the whole order, not off your profit. If you make 10 cents of profit on a dollar, a 20 cent cut does not take a fifth of that order. It takes twice what you made on it. Read that twice, because it is the whole point.
The customer becomes yours
A delivery app rents you one order and keeps the customer. That same person ordering straight from you next month costs you nothing. That list is what you are really building here.
There is no rent to pay
A monthly bill has to be paid before it makes you a penny, in a slow January and in the week the boiler breaks. A free page is still worth having in a bad month. That is exactly when a paid one gets cancelled.
The list is the thing you are actually building.
Saving the commission is worth having. A list of everybody who has ever ordered from you is worth more, and it is the one thing a delivery app will never give you.
- A name and a number from every single order, saved for you automatically
- Download it to a spreadsheet any time, including the day you leave
- Still yours if you drop us, change your website, or use somebody else next
- And it is what makes the texting and emailing tools worth turning on later
Yours to export any time. A delivery app never hands this over.
What this would cost you as separate subscriptions.
Most restaurants end up paying for five or six of these at once, each on its own bill, each renewing on its own date.

Typical published prices for tools restaurants commonly use, per location. They change, and some bundle things together differently. The exact total is not the point: the point is that none of it is on your bill here.
Four things this will not do for you.
A page of nothing but good news is a page nobody believes. Here are the four catches, before you have to ask.
You still pay the card fee
About 2.9 percent plus 30 cents, paid to Stripe, the same as you already pay on your card machine. We do not add to it and it does not come through us.
This does not replace the delivery apps
Delivery apps are good at finding you new people. This is for the customers who already know you. Most restaurants use both and move the regulars over.
A page nobody visits earns nothing
The one thing that decides whether this works is putting your link on Google and a QR code on the table. It takes ten minutes, and skipping it means nothing else matters.
The customer fee is real, and we show it
About $1 to $2 on a normal order, shown on the receipt before your customer pays. We would rather you read it here than find it yourself later.
The full plan comparison, including the two paid ones, is on the pricing page.
Keep the next $15,000.
No monthly bill, no cut of your sales, and nothing out of your profit. Sign up and put your own link on Google this week.
